About Me

My name is Megan Callaway (she/her). I work as a manager in health profession regulation and have expertise in operations and the systems and technology that support effective programs. I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals by connecting them with the information and resources they need.

I attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from McMaster University (2008) and a Library and Information Technician Diploma from Mohawk College (2012). I am committed to lifelong learning and have participated in continuing education in records and information management, project management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I am currently enrolled in the Master of Arts—Interdisciplinary Studies (MA-IS) program at Athabasca University. Although I haven’t settled on a focus area yet, Work, Organization, and Leadership is of particular interest to me. Studies in this area would allow me to further develop my understanding of governance, leadership, work, and learning, both in my field and in other professions. I am also very interested in issues relating to veganism, animal welfare, environmentalism, and sustainability.

I currently live in Toronto with my partner Dylan, and our puggle (pug/beagle mix) Bobby. A piece of my heart also belongs to our first dog, a pug named Coco.

My hobbies include listening to podcasts, playing video games, reading, and doing a little bit of art and crafting every now and then.
